The Joys of Being a Mother...

Just a quick post.... The funniest, most embarrassing thing happened to me today =S

So we all went out as a family, decided we would have a nice lunch together.

I had Leah sitting on my lap and she's happily eating away, the next minute I feel something very warm on my lap.......

Yup that's right, her nappy leaked and I wore it all down the front of my pants.

It looked soooo bad!!!

We went straight to the parents room (to change Leah) and then straight home.

The joys of motherhood! =)

What the future holds...

We'll it's official...
Sean and I will be heading into training college next year.
Our sessional name 'Proclaimers of the Resurrection'.

We're really excited. I'm a little worried about the study side of things, but hey this is what Gods called us to and I fully believe that He s going to carry me through.
Already He has given me such a peace about going.
Leah is going to have lots of little friends to play with and I can't wait to get in and meet all our session mates.

So after college, who knows where we'll end up... like I've said before as soon as Sean and I get settled God pushes us right out of our comfort zone. As exhausting as that is, as challenging, I love it because I know that we are journeying along the path God has set for us and that's an amazing feeling.

God is good!!! and that's about all I have to say about that =)

I'M BACK!!!

So turns out I pretty much totally forgot all about the blogging world until just last week when Kirsten asked if I still blogged... hmmm Oh and of course my sister is now blogging

so once again here I am...

Looking back at my last blog I was just 16wks pregnant, living in QLD and happy....

Well a lot's changed, my darling little baby girl is now 1 (oh my goodness!!) and we're living on the Central Coast, oh and of course still very happy..

I've got lots to share, but it will have to wait for another day... Stay tuned I promise I'll be back

Thought for the day...

It's funny I don't really have much to say but I have about a million emotions.

I was looking back through photo's of Sean and I and am just at a loss for words...

As Christmas and New Years have come to an end things have started to get busy again, and sometimes I think I just get so lost and caught up in it all that I forget to stop, reflect, be still and thank God for the amazing gifts he's given me.

I have an amazing husband, an amazing marriage, and I'm carrying this precious little gift that God's put in my care... WOW! I never though life could be this good. Just when I think things couldn't get any better, God just blesses us that little bit more.

I often think things are just too perfect, something terrible is going to happen soon - but then I just have to trust in the Lord, know that he is directing my path and holding me in his hands... I don't know what the journey ahead holds, but God does! I'm excited to be walking Gods path... through the good times and the bad.

Anyway, just a little thought for the day.

For those of you who are interested, baby is doing well... We're about 16 1/2 weeks now (although our due date keeps changing so were not overly sure), so our 20 week scan is fast approaching. I will make sure to take my USB in so I can up-load some shots of our little bubble.

Our Precious Gift!

Well... it's been a while since my last post, but now I have something exciting to share with you all you'll probably notice I'm updating a lot more...

So for those of you who don't know... Sean and I are pregnant!!!
We're very excited, a little nervous about what the future holds, buy hey.. it's all in God's hands.

So we are 13 weeks, still early days and not much of a belly yet but I'm really looking forward to going through the next 6 months.

We had our first scan about a week ago and it was just amazing to see this little life inside of me...
Our God really is an AMAZING God!

Anyway, I look forward to keeping you all up to date and posting lots of belly shots =)
